Munich, 11 May 2015. Beta Film’s TV movie The Templar Killer has shuddered millions of French viewers at the weekend. The thriller, set in the imposing walls and turrets of medieval Carcassonne, glued 4.2 million viewers on France 3 with an extraordinary market share of 19 %, well above the channel’s average of 12 %. The Templar Killer, directed by Julian Despaux, is produced by Kwaï in co-production with Stromboli Pictures and R.T.B.F. (Télévision Belge).
