Munich, 16 April 2012. Beta Film’s children animation series WILD SOCCER BUNCH has won the viewer championship at its premiere on Germany’s ARD/ZDF-children channel KI.KA. The series reached an average market share of 29.3 percent (preschool and elementary school kids 6 – 9 years) and was very well received by boys between 3 – 13 years, beating entertainment programs at the same slot at Super RTL and RTL. WILD SOCCER BUNCH was broadcasted from 9 -14 April, daily except Sundays in double features starting in the afternoon at 4.25 pm. The series (26x22’), with its second season already in production, is produced by WunderWerk in co-production with Beta Film in co-operation with ZDF.
