Munich, 8 Oct 2012. Germany's animated feature film RAVEN THE LITTLE RASCAL has remained among the top 10 box office movies for five consecutive weeks. After a strong opening on 448 screens, the release was widened for three consecutive weeks up to 608 prints in German and Austrian cinemas. Giving in to the strong demand by cinema chains, this high number of prints even broke the record of German distributor Universum Film and has lead to a $3m box office gross after only five weeks. Even after the opening of MADAGASCAR 3 last weekend, RAVEN THE LITTLE RASCAL has only lost 4% and remains among the top ten films. Beta Film is handling world sales. The film will be released in France by Gebeka.
