„Homicide Hills“ wins primetime in Germany

Munich, 19 May 2010. Beta’s crime series Homicide Hills has won yesterday’s primetime in Germany. The repeat of the first season's first episode reached 5.8 million viewers (market share 19.3 %), almost two million more than at its first screening in 2008. Homicide Hills (13 x one hour) scored even better ratings than such successful formats as CSI:Miami on RTL. The ARD is airing the first six episodes of season 1 as a repeat and will broadcast seven new episodes immediately afterwards. Homicide Hills relates the adventures of Detective Sophie Haas, who has solved many murders thanks to her sharp instincts and unusual tactics. Expecting to be chosen as head of the city's homicide department, she is shocked to learn that she is being sent to a sleepy little town instead.
