UNITEL CLASSICA HD stars in Taiwan’s DishHD channel line-up

 

TAIPEI/MUNICH, June 17, 2010. The DTH operator DishHD and the German company UNITEL have signed a deal to distribute UNITEL’s premium classical music channel UNITEL CLASSICA HD via DishHD in Taiwan. UNITEL CLASSICA HD presents the greatest operas and concerts from today as well as legendary classics with the leading orchestras, conductors and musicians all in high definition. The channel is available by subscribing to the DishHD service in Taiwan.
Since its start in Asia last year, UNITEL CLASSCIA HD has expanded onto several platforms in Korea and Taiwan. In Europe, the UNITEL CLASSICA channels are established as leading premium pay-TV channels in various countries such as Germany, Italy and Spain. CLASSICA is equally successful on Japan’s Tohokushinsha, which began airing the channel more than ten years ago.

UNITEL CLASSICA HD is part of UNITEL, which was founded by Herbert von Karajan and Leo Kirch 50 years ago.
